ai : Japan through John Lenon's eyes

I'd like to introduce one of my favorite books that I've recently read to you. This is a kind of a picture book published by Yoko Ono with a lot of sketches by John Lennon both in English and Japanese. "ai" in the title came from the pronunciation of "eye" in English and "love" in Japanese. You can see in it how John Lennon had viewed Japan and learned Japanese-with love. His humorous and hilarious sense is new and interesting for me.

●reference to the text by Yoko Ono
"I hope John, through this book, will teach you how to face a new world- with a sense of fun and a lot of love."

My favorite of his sketches is:
itsumo---gohan(絵:茶碗), miso(絵:味噌汁), yasai(絵:野菜炒め)
always---rice(pic:with rice bowl),miso(pic:miso soup), vegetables(pic:fried)

My favorite of his expressions is :
The more you know, the less you want to talk.
The less you know, the more you want to talk.
